LSU Women's Basketball, Kailyn Gilbert Scores Layup With 1-Second Left
Kailyn Gilbert put the LSU Tigers over Washington women's basketball with a last-second layup at the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship.
LSU women's basketball finished a huge comeback against Washington at the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship, topped off by a beautiful last-second layup by Tigers guard Kailyn Gilbert.

LSU overcame a sluggish start and a 14-point deficit to roar back for a win against the now 6-2 Huskies. LSU, who came into the game undefeated, certainly preferred to keep it that way, as they head to 7-0 this season.
With 20 seconds left, Washington was leading 66-67 before the Huskies committed a turnover. Kailyn Gilbert then collected the ball and drove to her left, finishing with a beautiful arcing layup to put the Tigers up for good.
Gilbert finished with 8 points and 3 rebounds, while Aneesah Morrow dropped a double-double for the Tigers, scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds.
LSU will play NC State to decide this year's Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo champion on Nov. 27 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
