North Central started the season atop the rankings, and they ended it the same way.

The Cardinals completed their perfect season as the top-ranked team, and they are among the 10 teams in the top 25 who remained unbeaten in the 2024 season.

Joining North Central with no losses are Cortland, Mount Union, St. John's, Hardin-Simmons, Salisbury, DePauw, Hope, Springfield and Lake Forest. Now, let's see who can keep the winning streak going in the D3 playoffs.

Tournament Time

  • North Central is the No. 1 overall seed - This entire season has seen the Cardinals dominant and almost unanimously been ranked the best team week in and week out. North Central will play its first playoff game of the year against the winner between Whitworth and Pomona-Pitzer.

  • Susquehanna and Springfield hosting playoff games - After winning their conferences, the River Hawks and Pride will host playoff games in the second round of the playoffs.

  • Best games of the week - The first round of the playoffs features some matchups where teams are separated by one ranking: No. 9 UW-Platteville vs. No. 10 Wartburg, No. 13 Aurora vs. No. 14 Hope, and No. 16 Grove City vs. No. 17 John Hopkins.
