GLIAC Week 12 Schedule: Can Saginaw Valley Football Get A Playoff Spot?

Ferris State maintains control of the GLIAC with GVSU looking in, Saginaw Valley is hoping for a playoff berth, and more in the final week of GLIAC play.

The final week of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference season is finally here. And for Ferris State, they will be getting at least a share of the conference title for the first time since their three-peat from 2018-2021. The only thing potentially stopping Ferris State from an outright title is a 6-3 Davenport team attempting to keep their playoff hopes alive. Right now, Davenport is not really in the picture, but if they somehow upset the bulldogs, they'll be getting a second look. 

Saginaw Valley State, another team looking to sneak into postseason play has a must win game as they host Michigan Tech. They are currently 10th in the 10-team Super Region Three rankings, and a dominant performance this weekend would really help them secure that spot. 

Northern Michigan looks to avoid a second straight winless season as they go on the road to Wayne State and GVSU goes on the road to Roosevelt in the final two games of the GLIAC season. Here is a full look at that schedule below.

The playoffs begin on Nov. 23 and end on Dec. 21 at District Stadium in McKinney, Texas.
