In that game against the Seawolves, the defense had a great showing, only allowing six points, and the offense had a decent game as well, dropping 24 points with a touchdown in the fourth quarter. UAlbany wants a great showing to impact Rhode Island's playoff positioning.

  Rhode Island - With the current circumstances, the Rhode Island Rams are slated to face against UAlbany's opponent from last week, Stony Brook. This comes from the loss to slim loss to Delaware last week. The Rams were down ten going into the fourth quarter and were able to score a touchdown in the middle of the quarter but came up short.

History Between UAlbany and Rhode Island 

• Series History - Saturday will be the 12th time these teams will meet each other. Rhode Island holds a tight series lead over the Great Dunes at 6-5. UAlbany won the matchup last year and would like to do the same this year. It could have more of a special feeling knowing that they can disturb playoff implications in the FCS.

  Potential playoff implications -  If Rhode Island loses this game, it will very likely knock them out of the playoffs. If they win, it keeps its chance alive to win an automatic bid in the playoffs by winning the conference if Richmond loses its game against Hampton.
