Rhode Island currently sits at 8-1 on the season and 5-0 in Coastal Athletic Association Football play. They are ranked No. 10 in the coaches poll, one spot behind CAA foe Richmond who is the only other undefeated team in conference play. Meanwhile Delaware has fallen out of the polls, sitting at 7-1 on the season and 4-1 in conference, their lone blemish a 28-9 loss against Richmond in which their offense really struggled. 

A win for Delaware would certainly shake up the conference standings and give them a chance to steal a title in their last season in the CAA. However, for them to do that, they will certainly have to get their offense going, their biggest struggle in their last few games.

Rhode Island has been slow and inconsistent at times, meaning if Delaware can come out and execute, starting off hot, this certainly could be an interesting matchup. Starting strong will be crucial if Delaware looks to keep their conference championship hopes alive.
