The last time Villanova Football left Pennsylvania, the Wildcats were a top-five team in the FCS Coaches Poll and were walloped by Maine, 35-7 on Oct. 19.

But after a 14-6 win over New Hampshire, the now No. 13-ranked Wildcats are ready for some road redemption as they travel to Hampton for a CAA showdown at 1 p.m. ET on Nov. 2

Villanova, the defending CAA champions, finds itself chasing Rhode Island and Richmond (both 4-0) in the conference standings as the final month of the season begins this weekend. Villanova doesn't play either URI or Richmond this season. 

Hampton, in a transition year with a new head coach in Trent Boykin, is 5-3 overall and 2-2 in CAA play.

The FCS playoffs begin on November 30, 2024.

The 2024 Division I FCS College Football Championship game will be played on January 6, 2025, at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
