FCS Football Rankings For Week 10: All Teams Remain In Top 25
FCS Football Rankings For Week 10: All Teams Remain In Top 25
Not as much shocking news came from week 9, but there were still some things to take note of from this week's AFCA Coaches Poll.
There are about three full weeks of college football left and in the FCS things cooled down in terms of surprises and upsets compared to how there were plenty last week.
Of course there were losses in the top 25 but not as news breaking and season alternating, however fans still have to keep their eyes close to the action with the playoffs approaching final month of the regular season.

Big Notes From The Week in FCS Football
- No teams drops out of top 25 - After the massive shakeup last week, no teams will find themselves being on the outside looking in for this week's edition of the top 25 rankings.
- North Dakota State stays at No.1 - The Bisons had a terrific performance in their first game as the new No. 1 team, with a commanding 59-6 win against unranked Murray State.
- South Dakota State wins GOTW - Although former No. 1 lost its spot last week after the loss to NDSU football, SDSU won in a hard-fought battle with South Dakota with a 20-17 overtime win. The outcome of the game didn't effect either much; the Jackrabbits stayed at No. 3, and South Dakota football only dropped one spot to No. 5.
Villanova's defense carries Wildcats - As the saying goes, defense wins championships, and that was definitely the case this past week for Villanova, who squeezed out a win against New Hampshire, only allowing six points throughout the whole game. This was a huge bounce back game from the defense after allowing 35 points to unranked Maine last week.
Best Win Of The Week - Stony Brook Football
- Seawolves takes care of home-field advantage - Now 6-2, Stony Brook pulled off one of the most impressive games of the season with a head-turning 35-13 win versus No. 15 William & Mary football at the time. Now with the win, Stony Brook moves up four spots in the rankings.
Worst Loss Of The Week - North Dakota Football
- The Fighting Hawks loss in high-scoring affair - Even though the offense had a great day putting up 40 points this past Saturday, it did not matter much when unranked Youngstown State scored 41 points at home and upset North Dakota, who came into the game ranked No. 7 but left the game down eight spots to No. 15 for the upcoming week.
