South Dakota State needed overtime to avoid a second straight loss as No. 4 South Dakota pushed No. 3 South Dakota State to the brink in a 20-17 game in Week 9 on Oct. 26.

The South Dakota showdown was the game of the week in the FCS, but one of the most watched games was in Rhode Island as the No. 16-ranked Rams faced Maine, who demolished Villanova a week earlier.

The Rams, though, beat the Black Bears 24-14.

Perhaps the biggest head-turner in the CAA was Stony Brook, now ranked No. 24, crushing No. 15 William & Mary 35-13.

The No. 14-ranked Villanova Wildcats did rebound from the Maine loss with a 14-6 win over UNH.

Here are the complete FCS scores in Week 9.
