FCS Football Scores In Week 9: Stony Brook Football Crushes William & Mary
The big match up in South Dakota was a thriller and went into overtime, but the CAA saw No. 24 Stony Brook beat William & Mary football.
South Dakota State needed overtime to avoid a second straight loss as No. 4 South Dakota pushed No. 3 South Dakota State to the brink in a 20-17 game in Week 9 on Oct. 26.
The South Dakota showdown was the game of the week in the FCS, but one of the most watched games was in Rhode Island as the No. 16-ranked Rams faced Maine, who demolished Villanova a week earlier.
The Rams, though, beat the Black Bears 24-14.
Perhaps the biggest head-turner in the CAA was Stony Brook, now ranked No. 24, crushing No. 15 William & Mary 35-13.
