The Northern Iowa wrestling team begin competition on Nov. 16 in the Grand View Open and the NCWA All-Star Classic.

Northern Iowa is ranked 9th to start the season after finishing 14th last year.

Returning NCAA champion and reigning Big 12 Wrestler of the Year, Parker Keckeisen (No. 2 at 184 and No. 3 at pound-for-pound) will be in the purple and gold for the Panthers. Trever Anderson (No. 22 at 125), Cael Happel (No. 6 at 141), Colin Realbuto (No. 14 at 149), Ryder Downey (No. 6 at 157), Jared Simma (No. 15 at 174), and Wyatt Voelker (No. 17 at 197) will also return to the team for another run.

The weekend after the NCWA All-Star Classic marks the launch of Big 12 conference matches for the Panthers, competing against quality opponents in South Dakota State and Missouri. The full Northern Iowa wrestling schedule for 2024-2025 is attached below.
