Springfield College (5-0, 2-0) debuted in the NCAA Division III rankings this week and now they face rival MIT at Stagg Field at noon. Springfield College is the highest-ranked, and only ranked, team in the NEWMAC. 

Springfield is led by a dominant running attack that is averaging 468 yards on the ground, the best in all of college football regardless of division.

Ranking seventh in Division III in scoring offense with 50.8 points per game, the Pride's offense has been impressive and currently leads the country in sacks allowed (0), passes intercepted (0), third down conversion percentage (63.6%) and second in passing yards per completion (26.6). 

MIT (2-3, 0-3) lost the US Merchant Marine Academy 21-0 on Oct. 12 in Cambridge.
