The Cornhuskers are # 3 in the NCAA preseason poll, #4 in the FloWrestling poll, and could be on the cusp of a trophy at the NCAA Championships. The team finished ninth in last year’s NCAA tournament.

There will be four All-American returners, including Brock Hardy (No. 4 at 141), Caleb Smith (No. 4 at 125), Ridge Lovett (No. 5 at 149), and Antrell Taylor (No. 7 at 157). Other ranked Cornhuskers are Jacob Van Dee (No. 11 at 133), Bubba Wilson (No. 12 at 165), Lenny Pinto (No. 8 at 184), Silas Allred (No. 8 at 197), and Harley Andrews (No. 23 at 285).
