Iran Wins Official Team Title - USA Finishes In 6th
Iran took home the official U20 Greco team tile winning 6 total medals - 4 golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze. Russia technically scored more points than Iran but Russian athletes are competing as "Individual Neutral Athletes" due to sanctions put on the Russian Wrestling Federation. Because of those sanctions, the Russian team was not eligible to win the team title.
Team USA finished in 6th place with 3 total medals - 2 silvers (Isaiah Cortez and Otto Black) and 1 bronze (Aden Attao). Along with those medals, Team USA secured valuable team points from Cory Land (60 kg) and Aydin Rix-McElhinney (77 kg) to help them secure the 6th place team finish.
