Jayden Raney Wins U17 Greco-Roman World Gold Medal
The United State's Greco-Roman U17 World Team will be bringing home a gold medal from Amman, Jordan.
Jayden Raney is bringing home a gold medal from the U17 World Championships in Amman, Jordan. The Kentucky native won five matches en route to the Greco-Roman title at 55 kg. He was impressive from start to finish defeating U17 Asian champion Sandor Kholmurzaev from Uzbekistan by pin in the very first round.
In the finals, Raney came close to getting the fall and was able to hold off Kazakhstan's late push to hold on to victory 7-5.
