Argentina has beaten France for the first time in nearly a decade. 

Argentine prop Thomas Gallo had two tries in the second half to put it away for Los Pumas, as they proudly secured the victory in front of the home crowd at Estadio José Amalfitani / Estadio Velez Sarsfield in Buenos Aires.

Argentina dropped 33 points on a French team that had played well since its visit to South America began. 

France beat Argentina a week ago, before defeating Uruguay in a midweek contest.

Argentina will take this win and continue its summer internationals season with a match against neighbor Uruguay next week.
