The 2024 CAA baseball season came to a close and came down to the wire as teams brawled to the very last game while trying to secure a spot in the conference postseason. In the final games, Charleston leapfrogged UNCW to take the No. 1 seed in the CAA Baseball Championship, while Stony Brook fell from the six spot, supplanted by an ascending Hofstra team.

Northeastern, Delaware, and William & Mary make up the middle seeds, and all will be dangerous through the first two days of the tournament. Campbell, who was ranked in the top 25 nationally earlier this season, fell right outside the conference seeds despite finishing 31-22 overall -- better than Delaware, William & Mary and Hofstra. At No. 84 in RPI, the Camels are outside the at-large bids for the NCAA Tournament.

Northeastern currently has the highest-ranked RPI in the CAA, at No. 30. 

The CAA Baseball Tournament when it begins on May 22 and runs through May 26. FloBaseball will broadcast the entire tournament.
