Creighton baseball will enter the latter portion of a 10-game homestand when they play a three-game series against University of San Francisco baseball. The Bluejays are 12-2 on the season, having just finished a three-game series against Portland, during which they took two-of-three against the Pilots.

Creighton is a high-flying program so far this season, ranking 13th in the nation in runs per game, averaging nearly 10 runs per game. The Bluejays pitching has also been strong and it shows in Creighton's scoring differential, which also sits among the highest in the nation at +5.6, good for 16th in D1 baseball. 

Creighton is currently unranked, but they are 48th in RPI. 

The San Francisco Dons are 12-5 on the season, and despite racking up a dozen wins, Creighon will far-and-away be their toughest opponent so far this season. While the Dons scoring has been middling, their pitching has been very strong, allowing only 63 earned runs in 17 games, putting them at the top of the West Coast Conference with a 3.81 ERA.

USF baseball sits 16th nationally in runs per game allowed, with only 4.1 per game.

Creighton has about three weeks to go before BIG EAST conference play begins. After playing San Francisco in Omaha, the Bluejays have a one-off against South Dakota State, then two series against Stanford, Charleston Southern before a massive one-off game against Nebraska. The Bluejays first BIG EAST conference matchup will be against Butler.
