Louis Lynagh Joins Italian Guinness Six Nations Squad Ahead Of Round 3
Harlequins' Louis Lynagh, who will join URC Benetton in 2024, has joined the Italian Guinness Six Nations squad ahead of their 2024 match against France.
Harlequins back-three star Louis Lynagh has joined the Italian Six Nations squad ahead of a Round 3 clash with France.
Son of Wallabies legend Michael Lynagh, it was confirmed Monday that he would be joining Treviso-based URC side Benetton ahead of the 2024-2025 season.

This move, coupled with Lynagh’s Italian heritage, having been born to an Italian mother in Treviso - confirmed his intention to represent the Azzurri.
The 23-year-old previously has featured in England training squads under former head coach Eddie Jones but never was capped.

While his move away from English rugby to Italian rugby was not a shock, it does pose an interesting future situation where he may face his younger brother Tom, who plays for Australian side the Queensland Reds.
Should Tom progress through the ranks to become a Wallaby like the duo’s father, they could face each other in the test arena.
Lynagh has managed 27 tries in 58 appearances for Harlequins, including two tries during the London club’s 2021 Premiership final victory over the Exeter Chiefs.
