Before TCU takes over the home of the reigning World Series champion Texas Rangers, get to know more about the 2024 Horned Frogs:
How Did TCU Baseball Do In 2023?
After sputtering in the always tough Big 12 Conference, finishing the regular season 13-11, TCU baseball caught fire late in the 2023 season.
The Horned Frogs began their postseason march with a dominant run through the conference tournament.
TCU parlayed the Big 12 Championship into a five-game, undefeated tear through their Regional and Super Regional en route to the College World Series.
After a 2-2 showing in Omaha, ultimately bowing out to runner-up Florida, TCU concluded 2023 at 44-22. It was the program's 12th season of 40 or more wins since 2007.
Who Coaches TCU Baseball?
Kirk Saarloos debuted as TCU head coach with quite a flourish in 2022, taking over for his former colleague and Horned Frogs legend Jim Schlossnagle.
Saarloos led the Horned Frogs to the 2022 Big Ten Conference title, which sent the program to NCAA Tournament for the seventh time in eight full seasons.
The coach lifted the bar further with the College World Series run in his second season.
Has TCU Ever Won The College World Series?
No, TCU has never won a College World Series title.
The 2023 College World Series appearance marked the program's sixth, all of which have come since 2010.
The Horned Frogs have never reached the championship round.
Notable Returning Players

Kole Klecker, RHP
Freshman All-American and Big 12 All-Conference selection Kole Klecker emerged as the ace of the TCU pitching staff, amassing a 3.72 ERA and 10-4 record in 17 starts and 19 appearances.
Klecker's late-season finish included a seven-inning, three-hit, scoreless outing in the Super Regional win over Indiana State.
Notable Newcomers
Ben Hampton, LHP
Two-time (2022 and 2023) All-Big 12 pitcher and 2021 Freshman All-American Ben Hampton makes the in-league move from West Virginia to TCU.

Zach Wadas, Utility
Perfect Game named Zach Wadas a top-100 prospect in the class of 2023, in part for his defensive play.
