How loaded is the Big Ten Wrestling entering the 2023-2024 season? 

Rutgers Wrestling returns 11 national qualifiers and two All-Americans and yet the Scarlet Knights are still the eighth-highest ranked Big Ten team in the FloWrestling top 25 preseason rankings. 

Overall, there are nine Big Ten teams ranked in the top-25, with Indiana ranked at No. 25 and Illinois tied at No. 26 and Minnesota and Michigan State ranked at No. 28 and No. 29. 

The Scarlet Knights begin the season tied with Lehigh as the No. 23-ranked team as they looked poised to make noise in the Big Ten. 

Dean Peterson (No. 9 at 125-pounds), Dylan Shawver (No. 19 at 133), Mitch Moore *No. 16 at 141), Andrew Clark (No. 19 at 157), Brian Soldano (No. 8 at 184), John Poznanski (No. 13 at 197) and Yaraslau Slavikouski (No. 11 at 285) are all ranked. 

The Scarlet Knights schedule is highlighted by a non-conference slate that includes a dual against No. 3 Virginia Tech and a trip to West Point for the Black Knight Invitational on Nov. 19. The Black Knight Invite is streaming live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app.

When Is the 2024 Big Ten Wrestling Tournament? 

The Big Ten Wrestling Tournament is March 9-10 at the XFINITY Center in College Park, Md. 

Last year’s Big Ten Tournament was at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 

This is the first time Maryland has hosted the tournament. 

When is the 2024 NCAA Wrestling Tournament?

The NCAA Wrestling Championships are March 21- 23 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.
