Wyatt Hendrickson and Air Force Wrestling begin the season on Oct. 28 at the Black & Blue Challenge as the Falcons open the season ranked No. 20 in the FloWrestling preseason rankings.

Hendrickson, one of the best heavyweights in the country, is the No.12-ranked Pound-For-Pound wrestler in the country and No.2-ranked in his class. Hendrickson is a returning All-American who went 31-2 last season and finished third at the NCAA Wrestling Championships. He earned the Gorriaran Award for most falls in the least amount of time at the tournament. 

Overall, Air Force finished 18th at the NCAA Wrestling Tournament and produced three national qualifiers, including Tucker Owens and Sam Wolf.

The Falcons will take their program to the Navy Classic on Nov. 18 and a few weeks later will fly to Las Vegas for the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational. The Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational will stream live on FloWrestling and the FloSports app.

The Big 12 Wrestling Championships are at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The BOK Center hosted the 2023 NCAA National Championships. The BOK Center hosted the championships in 2023 as well. 

What College Wrestling Teams Are In the Big 12?

The Big 12 wrestling members are different from other sports. Despite being in the Southeastern Conference for its other programs, Missouri competes in the Big 12. The SEC doesn’t have wrestling as a sport.
