The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Volleyball Players of the Week for matches played during the second week of the 2023 season. Anderson swept the weekly awards as Sadie Kluner was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Brantley Chipley was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Kluner, a senior from Venice, Fla., currently sits first in the SAC in kills per set (3.56) and second in the SAC in kills (96). She helped the Trojans to a 4-1 win including leading the squad with 18 kills in an upset over No. 12 Barry in the final game of the UAH Charger Invitational. Kluner tallied double-digit kills and attacks in four matches this week while averaging nearly four points per set.

Chipley, a redshirt sophomore from Spartanburg, S.C., was consistent throughout the entire week to help the Trojans to a 4-1 week. She registered multiple blocks in each match throughout the week, including five total blocks in the 3-2 upset win over No. 12 Barry.
