Simpson coach Jeff McGinness continues to take off-season recruiting by Storm. McGinness, a two-time NCAA champion for Iowa and a four-time undefeated state champion for Iowa City High, added a big-time recruit to his massive incoming class.

Kassidee Savaria, ranked #7 nationally at 180 pounds, will make an immediate impact on the Division III program located in Indianola, Iowa. She is a three-time Montana state champion, Montana’s Tricia Saunders Award winner, and a seven-time All-American.

“I am beyond excited to finally announce my commitment to Simpson College,” Savarina wrote in an Instagram post.
