Hofstra grad pitcher Brad Camarda has received a pair of national awards after throwing a no-hitter in the Pride’s 7-1 victory at Monmouth last Friday.
The right-hander was honored as a National Player of the Week by Collegiate Baseball newspaper Monday and was recognized as the National Co-Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Tuesday.

Camarda posted the third no-hitter in Hofstra history at Monmouth, striking out eight and walking only two in the 97-pitch outing.
He recorded his league-leading third complete game and improved his record to 5-2 on the season.
It was the first no-hitter by a Hofstra hurler since 2018.
